So I am new here, but this is my best guess...

STEP 1 - Identify when your over your head and enjoy passing on the qualified lead to a bunch of experienced thrashers !

STEP 2 - Watch learn absorb participate, and laugh (after the accounts are bombed) !

So I still have unresolved deep seated "banking issues", and wanted to know what the Mayor of Nigeria's central bank would do...

^What would be your character's reason to send the lad over a 100k?

Has he asked fees that are over 100K? That would be strange.

If, on the other hand, he thinks that you might have some money that you need to wash or send for some other nefarious reason ...then it should not be difficult to get the ten accounts you would like to receive.

Run that through your noggin and see if it helps. Very Happy

My bit of advice is if you want bank accounts, then you will have better luck straight baiting with no funny stuff.

Ten accounts are certainly possible, and Justcold can show you how to get them. In my experience, a phone call isn't necessary, but straight baiting and a good reason to send $100,000 to ten different accounts is.

I have tried a few tricks to wiggle past the call requests, but some seem to have "the call" stuck deep in their inner modality.
I know it's a big open question but... what does it really prove to them ?

So I sent him this... he will be irritated that once again he will miss this months receipts...

Every month payments are due (typically $100K to $250K USD depending on oil prices and other factors)
We used to put the payments into the company's normal accounts
Bankruptcy now prevents that
Receivers are trying to get that money for share holders
I don't want that to happen - It's my bloody family money and my useless partner made a mess - I used to be a silent partner
Now I have to be "really really quite" ! Do you understand ?

If the Canadian Government finds out these details, I could be in serious trouble - Please remember that !

I am sensing that the phone call coming has added a HUGE layer of legitimacy, and also I am no longer treating him like a second class Lad... He's starting to get warm and fuzzy. Moral Issue: I have a dim whited organ grinder who is pressed to supply 3 accounts. If I press him, he will try and steal more accounts, and in some way I am creating more victims. If I press this guy... well I am only stealing what's already been stole ? - Is that relevant ?

Bank account issue-it isn't really a moral issue-he's unlikely to be leaning on other victims. He is more likely to circulate his request among other lads or his oga. Or even family members. It is not uncommon for lads to share bank accounts-their constant demands for transfer slips is to prove that the transfer is theirs.

I agree with Capone, the bank account is almost certainly going to be "borrowed" from another lad.

At the worst if the account does come directly from a victim, you are only accelerating the inevitable by getting him to ask for it now, as he would do so in future anyway without you needing it and getting that account reported and the victim warned now rather than in 6 months time may stop them paying anything.

Definitely try that - transfers to that country will result in money laundering investigations, tax charges, your wife ran off with a <nationality> and the mere mention of the country causes you to foam at the mouth, whatever other reason you make up.

Overall, in my opinion, follow the KISS philosophy. Keep It Simple, Stupid. If it becomes overly complex, you will be explaining it over and over, giving him more reasons to not send the accounts.

I was going for the "in for a penny, in for a pound" thing. And that If he already gave me 10,
squeezing a few more shouldn't trigger any major alarms. ("twigs" ?).

So... If I looked at a list of 10 accounts when it first comes in;

There is likely to be a geographic cluster that revolves around him ?
And if I rejected three, I might get closer to something better.

I am curious - does he not just go to the bank and set up new accounts to cover the lost - strike that - I need to do some reading on that Embarassed

My though was that all the "forest" in the website would give them something to

If we were laundering, and I had to stay below the radar because of criminal and tax investigations and he WAS my friend...

He would suggest 20 accounts 30 accounts ? - what is the magic plausible ratio of $/account based on the actual current security landscape and my particularly sensitive situation?

I want a credible and easy to support argument for why I "really need thirty, but I guess your 10 will do" - and it will be in one of the training modules... to "stumble" on - I don't expect 30, but I like the idea of him taking the heat when the accounts go down - "I told you <X> was the safe amount - now what are YOU going to do ?"
