Good Morning! I'm new to Scambaiting and to the 419 Eater forums, although I've checked out most of the "baits" around the site. I love the lengths some of these scammers will go to to secure a "mark"

I had a 419 email today and decided to go for it!

I will post each email as it arrives, any hints or tips for replies will be appreciated.

This mail might come to you as a surprise and the temptation to ignore it as
unserious could come into your mind; but please, consider it a divine wish
and accept it with a deep sense of humility. My name is Mr Brown Desmond
I,m a 59 years old man. I am British
living in Dubai (United Arab Emirate).I was a merchant and owned two
businesses in Dubai.I was also married with two children. My wife and two
children died in a car accident six years ago.
Before this happened my business and concern for making money was all I
lived for. I never really cared about other values in life. But since the
loss of my family, I have found a new desire to assist helpless families. I
have been helping orphans in orphanage/ motherless homes. I have donated
some money to orphans in Sudan, South Africa, Cameroon, Brazil, Spain,
Austria, Germany and some Asian countries. Before I became ill, I kept $10.5
Million in a long-term deposit account in a finance/security company .
Presently, I,m in a hospital where I have been undergoing treatment for
oesophageal cancer. I have since lost my ability to talk and my doctors have
told me that I have only a few months to live. It is my last wish to see
this money distributed to charity organizations. Because relatives and
friends have plundered so much of my wealth since my illness, I cannot live
with the agony of entrusting this huge responsibility to any of them.
Please, I beg you in the name of God to help me collect the deposit and the
interest accrued from the company and distributes it amongst charity
organizations. Use your judgement to distribute the money and feel free to
reinburse yourself when you have the money for any cost you incure during
the
process of collecting and distributing the money to charity organizations. .

Good character response.

You may want to try telling him that instead of the money, you will pray for his cure -- you have cured many people around the world in this manner and you think it will be more effective.

Try to get him to argue that the money is more important than his life -- could be entertaining to watch the poor little mugu mind work around that. Very Happy

Unfortunately, I am unable to do as you ask, as I am neither in the UK, or in the US. I am currently based in the mission of Our Lady of Tierra del Fuego, in the remote lower valley of the Chubut river in Patagonia, My work here is with Welsh orphans who are, as you can imagine, most definitely disadvantaged.

Following the ungodly and unholy events of 9/11 the US and UK financial institutions you have mentioned are quite strict in their requirements for account opening, which must be done in person so that identification documents can be seen and verified. I do have access to other banks here in Patagonia however.

I do feel that we have another, more important mission before we look at transferring your funds. I am most concerned as to the state of your health and would like to help through the power of prayer. During my considerable number of years within the Church, I, and my colleagues, have healed many people suffering similar afflictions to yours, and would like to try and do the same for you. I can tell you are a profoundly religious and pious man, and would like you to reply telling me which precise branch of Christianity you follow, in order that I can arrange for an appropriate minister to appeal to Our Lord on your behalf. If we can be successful in this endeavour, of course, you would be free to distribute your funds yourself as you see fit, and your generous benefaction would not be diminished by the costs of international transfer fees and the like.
