I write to you based on a request by an investor who has some money and needs someone to use it for investments purposes, as he cannot travel overseas now.

My name is Chief Adeniran Aderogba, I am a Banker and financial consultant and I work with a reputable financial institution that most times represents the interests of wealthy investors. Due to the sensitivity of the position they hold in the society and the unstable investment environment of our country, they move majority of their funds into more stable economies and developed countries where they can get good yield for their money.

Because my current client cannot travel out of the country due to a problem he is currently facing now, he wants an organization or individual abroad, who will be able and willing to receive money and put it to good use for a period of four

(4) years for a start. You will use the fund for investments for four (4) years as a loan without any interest. That is, you do not pay any interest on the money, but you will give to my client 50% of all profits after tax that accrued from the use

of the fund. If after the elapse of four (4) year the gain he made is ok, the period of the investment can be renegotiated and extended.

The amount in question is $10m and he has offered to give you and me 15% of the total fund as commission. That is, you and me will get $1.5m (15%) as commission while you use the balance of $8.5m (85%) for the investment as stated above.

If these terms are agreeable to you, kindly let me know and I will provide you with full information and procedures involved.

This won't take more than five (5) days as far you are ready to give me maximum cooperation. Note that this transaction is not made official in my working place; it is between you, myself and the investor.

Also, I'd like 2 pieces of identification; I want to be sure that I am dealing with a real person and not some joker. I find that there are too many kids with computers and you can never be sure of who is pulling a prank and who's not.

I will finalize talks with my client and tell him that I have gotten a potential partner that will help us invest the money properly and wisely and make good gains as he wants. After talks with my client, I will have a lawyer prepare the agreement / Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that you and my client will sign. I will sign on his behalf, as he is currently indisposed and being monitored. The lawyer will also prepare agreement (MOU) that you will sign with me stating how much each of us (you and me) will get from the 15% ($1,500,000) that my client will give us as commission. I propose you take 50% ($750,000) and let me have 50% ($750,000). What is your opinion on this?

I will not give you full information about where the money is being kept now until I hear from you and be sure that you are really 100% interested and ready to work with us on this transaction. Once we finalize things and sign the agreements (MOU), my client will finally give us details of the money and the money will be released directly to you for the investments as planned and agreed.

I will go and tell my client that I have seen a good
partner. The details I need are:

2. Your home and office addresses

I need all these because the lawyer would need them in
preparing the agreements that we are going to sign
before starting off this transaction. Once I receive
these details, I will go and notify my client that I
have seen a good partner in your person and also ask

I am in receipt of the passport. I note with some concern that the photogragh on the passport looks suspiciously like the one of you on the bank website. Did you have them taken on the same day? I want another document with a photograph of you in a different pose. Do you have a driver's license? That will do. I'll send my info. as soon as I get confirmation that you are who you say you are.

The pictures were not taken the same day. The one for
the website was taken at the bank while the one in the
passport was taken at the passport office. I have no
driver's license because I have an official driver.
Anyway, that is all I can give you. If you want to
work with me, let's go ahead, but if you don't feel
comfortable I would understand and politely seek for
another partner. Let me know if you are with me or
not. I think I have given enough ID and I have none
about you.

Gee Chief calm down. How can a man of your position not have another piece of i.d.? Do you have something from the bank? Most large companies issue their employees photo i.d. tags. I am getting concerned about this and your strong reaction to a very small matter. What's up with that anyways?
