The money was deposited in boxes as valuable items to avoid over taxed custom clearance. This money was allocated for the purchase of new machinery and chemical product for Agro-allied farms and for the
establishment of new farms in Lesotho and Swaziland.
This land problem arose when President Robert Mugabe introduced a new land act that wholly affected the rich white farmers and some blacks vehemently condemned the "modus operandi" adopted by the government.
This result to rampant killings and mob action by the war veterans and some political thugs, precisely more than three thousand( 3,000) people have so far been killed.

Heads of government from the west, especially Britain and United States have voice their condemnation of Mugabe's plans. Subsequently, South Africa development community (S.A.D.C) has continuous supported Mugabe's New land act, it is against this background that my entire family who are currently residing in South Africa have decided to transfer my father's wealth and south Africa's government seems to be playing along with them. I am face with the dilemma of investing this money in South Africa for fear of encountering the same experience in the future, since both countries have almost the same political history.

More so the south African foreign exchange policy does not allow such investment, Hence I am seeking for(political asylum).AS a business person whom I entrusted my future and That of my family into his hands, I must let you know that this transaction is 100% risk free and the nature of your business does not necessarily matter.

Interesting, I didn't even bother to check!

However it raises a point I've often thought about. Why don't Indians do 419 scams? Or at least, it appears that they don't.

If they did, the letters would be written in perfectly correct, if perhaps somewhat old-fashioned and stilted English, and the stories would be plausible. The Indians are smart, and they do their research well.

My personal belief is that the Indians, although they may be sharp in business, are fundamentally too honest in general to nidulge in these scams.

I'd be interested in other opinions. I may be biased because I have spent a lot of time in India and I have a huge respect and liking for these people.

There were a few emails between us, I questioned the existence of the 'security company' and he got very upset. Then I told him that my pal in the police had been to look for the place and this upset him more.

I told him he could send his 'houtie' (it's a derogatory word used by whites in Southern Africa for a black person - means wooden head) to the airport. He didn't know what it meant but has realised I've been taking the piss. He's got a bigger surprise coming because he gave me a landline number which I've sent to the police - genuinely. I'll wait a little before telling him that.
