Like others here, I have received the Little Saints Orphanage scam, whereby the scammer pretends to work for the charity. I decided to play this straight and readily make a donation. Too bad it wasn't how he intended. We pick up after the formal "Please tell me more my church can help" email I reply back with. He writes.....

At this point he makes a similar request to send to his name (almost identical email), so I reply again telling him I am sending the money to the address above and name above. Now he starts to twig. The subject of the emails is changed by him to: "PLEASE ABIDE TO MY INSTRUCTION FOR THE SENDING OF THE MONEY TO AVOID TRICK OF THE DEVIL"

This is for security reasons. Bible tells us to wise as serpents. You can only trust God. We don�t want the money to get loss or go into wrong hand. Please follow my instruction and it will be deliver to us smoothly.

May the almighty God reward you for taking care of the needy in our society.

I think he's convinced I made a donation to the charity. I bet he's wishing he had been more up front to start with. So far no reply to my 9-digit WU number. I might re-bait him again with a different account to send him to WU once or twice.
