For about the tenth time now, I already sent you the account number
and the name of the bank. You refuse to tell me what else you need. I
asked you, very explicitly, whether you need the contact information
for the main branch, or the bank where I have my account, and instead

Then why did you ask for my account information in the first place?
You said you were giving that to the bank so they could make the
transfer. I don't see why I should have to open a new account when
I've already given you an account the money can be transferred to. Why
would you want to waste that much time? It would take several business
days to get a new account set up and activated in order to receive the
funds. It would probably be next week by the time the bank here gets
through doing the paperwork.

Do you really want me to take the time and trouble to go open a brand
new account?

to give it to the bank. So, why haven't you already given it to them?

I think you had better be the one to start being truthful. You're
lying about that being you. If you're not, prove it. Are you willing
to provide another picture of yourself to support your claim that the
person in the picture is you? If you are, then I will reconsider
helping you. If not, I have no choice but to assume you're a liar and

I always like starting out fairly compliant-ish, full of questions, but only because I want to get it right, (for more fun, ask only one per email and refuse to move on until the question has been answered to your satisfaction), then slowly, gradually becoming the maga from hell. Once the lads have invested just enough time/effort or become just desperate enough that they almost don't want to dump you for anything, even if you danced on their heads and sang "I'm a baiter, not a maga, and I'm going to bankrupt you" at the top of your lungs.

I love the "local branch or the main headquarters" question. It drives most lads mad. They have no idea how to answer in a realistic fashion. They honestly don't know. Most of them act like their head is going to explode when you ask. I think most of mine take a few days off to ask the oga what they should answer when I whip that one out.

And I especially love it when dim lads keep asking the same question and I can honestly refer them back to an earlier email, which they obviously didn't file properly or deleted. I'm currently giving one of my "employers' hell every few emails because he can't seem to find my contact information to pass on to any of his "clients" so they can pay me. And I stubbornly refuse to give him my bank information or my credit card information. I can nearly hear his wheels turning from here. He needs a bit of WD-40.

I love it when I can play totally-impossible-to-get with my lads and they're still pleading and begging with me to believe them. Amina was just especially fun to abuse, though, the way she kept flipping back and forth.

I think you'll be the first of my mentees that actually published a bait as opposed to running off screaming into the night...

I think the "and your family" business is ingrained into them. I once told a scammer (I don't think I published this one as it didn't really go anywhere) that my entire family except for my father was dead, and we didn't speak, because he was an abusive jerk of questionable parentage. Don't think he quite knew how to respond to that...

And Amina was during a rather avalanchey time in my baiting account. I don't think I was doing anything more than skimming the replies at that point. If it's slower, I generally go over them with a fine tooth comb and look for anything that might be useful to spring on them later. Like "But you promised to pay all the fees in your first email!"
