So delighted i found your site! I didnt know this was a "thing". I have been messing with these people for a couple of years now. I currently have 2 on the line right now. One since August! Youd think they would have gotten the hint by now. His story is that their village is starving and he needs money to get visa to come here to work.

The other one is a romance scam. heres how its gone:3 days in he loves me, never met anyone like me and even wants to have a baby with me! its been about a month. I was just about to send the money for him to come here but the western union wouldnt send that amount to Nigeria I said. Okay, buy an itunes card he says. I spent some time playing dumb and asking stupid questions about how that would work. By that time, so sorry the store is sold out of cards and I have to go to work.

Few days later hes messaging asking how my day was going and could I please send the money now? Terrible I said, my car broke down. he says, oh! and i could fix it for you but im far away. Well, could you send me some money? I ask him. After all, you love me, dont you want to help me out? He says right now? yeah i replied or in the next few days so i can get it in the shop. "ok" he says. Then I dont hear anything form a few days but Im constantly sending messages. hello? hello? Honey are you there? lol. now I heard from him, hes in the hospital too sick to send any money. hes also added that they cant do any treatments for him unless they have 200 dollars. lol..oh my god. what should i do now?

Are you baiting safely? The scammer has no way to find out any real info about you?

Rather than switching from WU to an iTunes card, you could switch to a bank account. When you get the bank account info, submit it to a mod here, who will forward it to the bank. That way the bank has some real info about the scammer, which could lead to his arrest, or about a mule, which can lead to disrupting his scam enterprise.

It appears from your post that you are baiting a beggar. We don't do that here. I suggest that you drop him and pick up a scammer from the Surplus Forum to replace him.

I dont think hes a beggar, he had been asking me for money because hes "in love with me" and just needed money to come to the US. But you all are more savvy than me. I will find another.

You can send them a message if you find a lad's bank account or credit card number.
