Basically I was emailing this lad several times a day and he always replied and even chase me for answers.

I am basically playing the gay card with him after an initial friendship...

This is my last email to him (I don't think I burn him):"

David,

I am on a break now.

I feel you are wasting your time here.

In Sri Lanka and UK everyone knows about Advanced Fee Fraud aka 419 Fraud.

And you are one of them. How do I know? Because the photo you sent me got a link underneath so I know that photo is not yours.

Now I do not care about you being a scammer. It's just a way to earn money and I understand it. I was once poor myself so I know you must be very poor and willing to do anything to eat something.

So let's face it. I am gay and I want to see your body. If you don't want then no problem.

But don't take me for a ride because you will not.

There is no money in Ghana that you can offer me and I will be your sugar daddy provided you understand my intentions.

This helps the lad get better in what they do. It might have been that sending the same picture/link to a real victim was enough to convince them it was a scam. Now, the lad will change their ways and become better at what they do.

I like changing the script on lads and taking them in other directions. The same could have been accomplished with this:

Please don't educate the lads. I would tell him its a great picture and can he send more. Even if it is obviously a different person pretend not to notice. These are the mistakes that can twig victims.

On the other hand. "Correct" his spelling, grammar, and word choice often. The common slang for barrister in the US is Shyster, Klingons are folks who cling to you as a good friend and help you financially, any such nonsense you can work in a little at a time.

The idea is to get enough odd stuff into their scrip that the first email will make most people delee it.

Never educate a lad. I prefer to de-educate them.

I usually get a lad off script by acting incredibly stupid or crazy. It’s amazing how far you can go with a properly hooked lad. Every act you take should drive the hook deeper. My own rule of one email per character with the same info really helps. By the third or fourth script, they become really convinced your real. I have only gotten the third or fourth script with a few of them.

I know this doesn’t help now, but I hope it helps down the road. This can mean even more time and more accounts, but when you get them on script 3 or 4 its amazing

Hmm an interesting angle could be you have a rich perv at your job who has offered to take photos for sex. It could open the door to another person in the bait.

The Lad enjoyed an overnight Safari in Cotonou from Lagos with a long long wait at the airport.
