OKAY! I MADE A LISTING ON EBAY, MOMENTS LATER I RECIEVED AN OFFER EXCEEDING MY ‘PAY NOW’ PRICE. I WAS EXCITED BECAUSE ITS SO TIRING MAKING A LEGIT DETAILED SELLING POST ON EBAY. ANYWAY I GOT AN EMAIL COMFIRMING THE PURCHASE AND “LEGITIMACY”.
I WILL INCLUDE PICTURES OF ALL EMAILS AND MESSAGES.
NOW I RECEIVE A MESSAGE IN MY EBAY INBOX ASKING FOR MY EMAIL AND MY CELL PHONE NUMBER. I SENT IT, “KASSANDRA SMITH”, MY EMAIL ADDRESS LINKED TO MY PAYPAL. HER CELL PHONE NUMBER IS < snip>.

State: Lagos State
Zip Code: 23401
Country: Nigeria

NOTICE THE NAME IS NOT KASSANDRA ANYMORE AND HER ACCOUNT ON EBAY WAS NOT IN NIGERIA.

THIS WAS HER SO CALLED NAME AN ADDRESS IN THE USA ON EBAY.

I was obliged to delete phone numbers and other information because it is very possible that these might actually belong to a "mule" -- a victim working on behalf of a scammer because they have been told it's a work-at-home job, or possibly a romance victim. In any case, we have no way of knowing if that person is also a victim.

eBay scams are unfortunately very common, as are Craigslist scams. Since this scammer knows your real information, I suggest you cease all contact with him. Report it to eBay, then walk away.
