This one's new to me, apparently out of Burkina-Faso. At first I thought it a "run-of-the-mill "scam victims' compensation" bit. Although that modality is as stale they come, two things make this one worthy of special attention:
1) Its ham-fisted writing tickles me.
2) The writer's inherent cruelty (See my inline commentary,) deserves whatever misery this community can throw his way. This is Turdboi level of indifference to others' sufferings for the sake of a few euros.

Be advised: the original email is dreadfully long. The following is merely a portion.
Any emphasis of any sort is mine.
My commentary looks like this..

This guy wants to be sure I know it's the FBI I'm dealing with. Lots more FBI name dropping to follow. If I can hook him for a while, I will be sure eventually to mention that I would have sent money right away had I realized the FBI were involved. He's also got a thing for parenthesis.

Imagine the malice that has to go into this jerk's writing. Recover / compensation scams target those who have already been victimized. They prey upon victims' needs to be heard, to be understood, to be comforted and to know that all humans are not evil predators. They inherently earn heavy condemnation; however, this hits a new low. This effluent eating hunk of garbage clearly knows that success in his "business" literally destroys innocent lives. His inclusion of the reference to a woman's suicide over 419 fraud has a diabolical purpose. He's hyper targeting those victims whose depression over their victimization makes them relate to the poor Australian woman's despair and suicide. He is playing on their desperation for healing, restoration and their hope and faith in the kindness and care of others: great powers and fellow common folk, This format is calculated to find victims whose defeated minds balance on the edge of self destruction, and then WITH THIS CLOWN'S FULL KNOWLEDGE betray their trust in as spectacular a way as possible. This scumbag not only takes joy in the news of a woman's suicide because of scamming he hopes to contribute to the body count, ostensibly for the sake of 49 Euros; although I've little doubt that anyone this callous wouldn't push a victim over the edge just to see her fall.

This typical recovery scam stuff continues for a few more equally horrid paragraphs. He goes on to say that the compensation will be a modest by scam format standards, $100,000 USD. I imagine he uses this "small" fortune to make it more "believable."

I'm not up to sharing and commenting on the remainder for now. My blood pressure needs a break. If you all want the rest posted, I'll add it to as an edit.

This lad seems uncomfortable with English. He might be a lone-wolf. No sign of hand-off to a closer.

He doesn’t look ripe for an entertaining and (more importantly) time wasting bait unless someone can get him off script and excited enough to have him writing much much more.

This guy seriously bugs me.

He targets the most fragile victims.
His format is so dismal that only the most desperate will fall for it
And his apparently weak communication skills make him more bait resistant than the average lad. He’s a challenge.

Baiters who manage to hook this scumbag deserve a well-earned kudos from the rest of us.

^ agree all that. Turdboi really does need to be taught a lesson, but I fear that he is far too lazy to work for his money.

I think my character has reached the end of the road. Even if I manage to "arrange" a WU payment, I don't think the dialogue would get much further than a half hearted request for an MTCN. Language is probably an issue - it might be interesting to try a bait in French.

I'll try to hook him, but it doesn't sound like it'll be easy. I might try convincing him that I want to give him way more money than he asked for, and start adding delays after that. Don't know if it'll be enough, but even if I've only wasted 10 minutes of his time, it's still better than nothing. Confused
