So I responded to an email for a WU transfer for 78.00 for some bogus security fee for some bogus ATM card "Accidentally" sending the reply to this idiot and a few others. Only received one response....keep in mind I have never communicated with this lad before....we have not corresponded at all....I know NOTHING of the fund he is speaking of...
Also keep in mind that the reply I sent was for a 78 dollar security fee ...small money....

This is curious turn of events. I'd understand if they'd ask you to go to Niger in hopes of kidnapping you, but Madrid? I consider Spain relatively non-kidnappy kind of a place.

I suspect it's just a random location to get you to say you can't get there and why don't you just send the money directly.

I threw a "I worked for an airline and can get there for free" dodge out a few times with some very entertaining results. The one that provided the most fun made up a story about how he'd been robbed and couldn't get to our meeting and could I please wire him money for a plane ticket...

Oh, this reminds me of a assassin lad I dealt with some time ago.

He starts with the usual tripe, how he's following me. Some crap about looking at me through a sniper riffle when I'm at home and so on.

My character is very frightened and after a month of going back and forth about the money, he finally has the money in hand.

The assassin is happy and wants me to send the money. I'm like "just ring the god damn doorbell and I'll give it to you".

This guy went from 0 to 100 in 3 seconds flat when it comes to anger. I've rarely seen so incoherent ranting and empty threads being thrown. I just keep on responding that since you already obviously circle my hoods, can I just dead drop the money.

Again the same thing.

Then he finally tells me to go to a Walmart and ask for WU since my character had no idea what it was. I ask him if he has the country right since I'm in Sweden (not really). I was bummed that he dropped me after that.
