My latest lad has been trying to get my character, a 67 year old Texas rancher, to scan his ID/passport and send it to him. Of course, my character doesn't have a scanner, which I told him. Got this in response:

Sir, I will advise you to go outside and scan the ID card and forward to me as a matter of urgency attached to this message.

I'm not sure what going outside will do, vs being inside. Still no scanner. Rolling Eyes

I love using the lad's poor English against him. I don't even have to try to delay. Self-baiting lads are the best.

And when you went to a public library/business centre/cyber cafe, you got into trouble when you tried to take the scanner outside. Your case comes up in a week. Ask your lad for some legal advice.
