We all know the "I am <blah><blah>... Send Moneygram/Western Union to" type of scam email. Often they don't last long as they tend to be one shot attempts at getting money by the lad.
However I have been solidly baiting one of these types of lads for 6 weeks now, several emails/day. He's had insulting emails from a 3rd party (also me), 2 abortive visits to Moneygram 1 abortivel visit to Western Union (how I persuaded him to make a personal visit is another story), had detailed responses to my simple questions and still he persists. And what is the princely sum he is hoping to collect? $35.
Has anyone else had such a persistent lad for so low an initial scam? |

Keep in mind that those small amounts are a fortune (year wages) in some countries. And lads operate from everywhere despite some locations being more common than others. Low level desperate lads may be very persistent. Congrats to you for keeping your fish hooked. Keep it up and please consder sharing  |
