Seems like the Lads are now targeting their own and setting up fake profiles on grindr and other sites to go after them and demand money or they will tell their family they are gay.
I do find it interesting Yahoo is covering a "Yahoo Boys" story..

Yahoo Boys are, without a doubt, scammers.
Just being Nigerian (or gay) does not make a person a scammer.
Scammers of all nations typically target their own citizens, too. |

My reference was to those scammers who are also gay and that are being harassed by their fellow scammers, including those who may not, in fact, be gay but have been presented that way by members of this very forum. My apoligies for not making that more clear. People being harrased and/or imprisoned based on sexual preference that involves other consenting adults is absolutely reprehensible. |

Of course I know being Nigerian and/or gay doesn't make one a scammer.
I was just pointing out that it is interesting they are targeting them to shake down money that way. Also there is a misconception by some they only go after "white people"
However, I have come across lads that admit they only go after white folks, and if they learn you are non-white they back off. |
