I used the PIN generator idea spoken of here to send the wire transfer with the special security feature and phone number. I rec'd the most heartwarming reply today and am looking for evil ideas as to how to respond at this point. The time sensitive nature of this seems to have motivated him!
Sir, the method you used in sending the $700 US dollars, is really wasting and burning my hard earned money, without any sound or favorable solution, as the money is still in the hands of the MONEY GRAM OFFICE. I have already spent a lot of credit on my phone calling them but they have not responded positively to me and I don"t think I can continue with that measure any longer, which I have already reported to the management of IMF OFFICE, NIGERIA.
Sir, I was also made to understand that it was the same method you used before that made both Mr E**** and Mr L****** not to be able to pick the money. Mr J****, it is very hard here in Nigeria, to pick the money successfully via that measure you used.
For your information, you better asked them to give you the MTCN , then you have it sent to me via email for nothing will happen to it as harm. Mr J****, I repeat, the Money Gram office, will be playing a lot of music, without attending to me, urgently and as expected but wasting my call credit till it became, a zero account, on my phone, I am fed up on that type of process of yours. I am very much sorry, I can"t pick it up, after I have spent a lot of my hard earned money, so far and nothing to show for it.
I wait hearing from you, on what you have to do next, urgently.
I should note that he would not give me a bank account, so I tried this alternative hoping a bank account would look attractive after all.
So, now that he is rather worked up, any suggestions on how to respond to his plea? Getting him to this state was fun, but now what? He might be vulnerable to just about anything and there are greater and more evil minds around here than mine! |

(this is a favorite tactic of mine) Tell him you will talk to your banker about alternatives.
A day or two later, write: " I went to see the banker, he is going to look into this matter and get back to me in a day or two."
using a new e-mail address, banker writes: "Your victim came in to see me earlier today. He showed me all the e-mails. I knew at once you were a scammer! But I did not tell him. . . .you see, your victim is very STUPID and very RICH. If we work together, we can both be rich. Otherwise, I will tell him you are a scammer. What do you say?"
If the scammer agrees, then the banker can haggle over the split of the loot, etc. But every time I had tried this, the scammer tried to WARN the victim of the two-timing banker.
So, banker then writes: "I had dinner last night with my new best friend. While he was out of the room, I checked his computer and do you know what I found? <insert text of e-mail from scammer to victim, warning him about the banker.> Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! The e-mail had not been read, so I deleted it. Then I blocked all e-mails from you. When I got home, I sent an e-mail to the victim with "your" new address, asking him to use the bank to transfer $3,750 for demurrage fees. This morning, the victim came into the bank and authorized the transfer of $3,750. Naturally, I kept all of it!!!!! I am going to get rich and you will get nothing. Goodbye, fool!"
The scammer will try to re-contact the victim to warn him about the banker, but the poor victim will not know who to believe....bait from there. |

Wow......that is amazing. The fee is only $700, so not sure a banker would risk much for it.....but I love the idea and it won't be me who stopped it, it will be the evil banker. At this point he would prob. believe this.
Thanks. |

Sparky - the banker isn't doing it for $700 - he is willing to work with the scammer to drain this rich, stupid victim of every penny he has, starting with the $700 |

Bruin, I've got it now.
And Bobby, that is a great idea, I will tell him that. I have to remind myself that it is always the lad's fault when things don't go right.
I think for today I'll tell him I called and got right thru so am not sure what the trouble is. Let him try again and if that doesn't work, I'll check with my banker and let that idea unfold.
thanks guys. |
