I wrote a detailed reddit post link removed -Padme about a real estate rental scam.

I convinced the scammers I was falling for it so they made whole fake lease agreement with my fake name and whatnot. They also provided the bank details where they want me to wire the money.

Is it worth trying to get this account frozen? If so, how do I do it?

PM the bank info to one of the mods (those who have their name in green) along with the lad's name, email and type of scam

startup_guy welcome to eater. Please do not post information on people's bank accounts (scammers or not) to the forum publically. As Volnutt said, account details can be PM'd to any moderator. I've removed your links, which contain the bank information.

It's good you realized it was a scam. Sadly renter's scams are rather common. Please feel free to stick around and also read our intro/FAQ which go a bit into what the site is about and our guidelines, one of which is to make sure you do not engage with or bait scammers who have any of your real life information.

Again welcome and glad you avoided getting scammed.

Please post the details (story, email addresses, phone numbers, but NOT the account number) to Scamwarners so that other targets of the scam can recognize it as a scam.
