Lad asks for mtcn number

Hello,

a lad from Benin asks me for the number. He already called me like seven times on my phone (It was off). So what should I do when he calls me again. Is there any fake number I can give it to him?

It sounds like the scammer has your REAL contact information, which means you are not baiting safely. If that is the case, drop him immediately! Just cut off all contact. No emails, no calls.

No, he has only my mobile phone number. Nothing besides that. Email, Name etc. are fake. My goal is to make him wasting money on calling me. So I used that one tip from Mr Priky that I am at work and I don't have internet there and he should call me. I just don't know how a mctu number looks like. Want to give him a fake one and when he calls me back like to keep telling him a fake numbers.

What is a MTCN? Where do I get one? Oh that- i threw the paper away. How do I get a new one? Gee they won't tell me what is was. How about a bank account? (to be reported of course). You get the idea. Very Happy

Glad to hear you are baiting safely! As for the MTCN, we recommend that you only give a fake receipt as a last resort. There is SO much fun to be had before you ever get that far. Always ask a million questions first. One question per email. One email per day. Drag it out. Try for a bank account, report it and then add a piggy to your siggy! It's the first step in the noble sport of pig farming.

exactly. one question per day, and let him explain everything, as he would do it with a real victim.

that leaves the option available to increase the amount of mails to two mails per day, indicating that you (aka the victim) are tightly hooked.

in short: the mtcn is the most important part of the payment, knowing it allows them receiving the payment. although the name and address are usually sufficient to complete the transaction.

So for some reason this lad thinks that I made a transfer with money gram though he asked me to do it with WU. I learned that WU tracking number is 10 digits, right? How does a money gram number looks like? I want to give him a fake one and if he says it is wrong I am gonna tell him that I send the money to his fake identety...Antony something.

Yes, a WU number has 10 digits .. and a MoneyGram number has 8 digits. I like to pretend that they are a little bit blurred. 47144817 ... at least, I think they the 4s are 4s, but one or all could be a 9. And the 7s could be 1s, or maybe the 1s are 7s. And maybe the 8 is a 3 or 6.

Well, not quite as obviously as that. I'm confident at first in giving the number, and then when the lad says it is wrong, I start the wondering. Wondering over one digit at a time.....

You could have fun with this number. I sometimes add an extra digit to make it a nine-digit number. I would add a 4 at the end of the this one. When the lad points out that the number is too long I tell him yes, my mistake, it has an extra 4, throw one of them out (without telling him which one).

Rule 1. Bait Safely.
Rule 2. Make the mugu do the work. Srichards is absolutely correct in sending the fake receipt as a last resort. It takes at least a minute of your time to fill out and ends the bait. Do send fuzzy and huge files that will preview nicely but enlarge to unreadable images. The lads love that.

The only time I would send a scan of a transfer would be to send 10 of them to a fully hooked lad in an attempt to keep him at a remote location after I have WIMP'ed him. Those transfers and MTCN numbers are supposedly in escrow until they are reactivated but Western Union Internal Security have locked down all the Internal Management Terminals for the next three days. A few minutes of work is worth three days of lad pain.

Once the lad says he wants a scan of an MTCN, all of my emails will have the title WESTERN UNION TRANSFER THE NUMBER. I will then ask the basic questions, one at a time and transfer photos of expensive cars asking the lad what he thinks is the best color. The lads love it when you dangle cash.

Do a google search for screenshot images of error messages, save one to your liking ("cannot open attachment" or some such), and send them the image attached labeled "Western Union Transfer Scan," to an email.
