After reading the thread that mentioned whether lads are internet savy or not, I thought I’d share the email I got this morning.

I have been straight baiting this lad since last December, and have 15 piggies from him. He is always polite, never rants and best of all, never gives up. Mr. Green

After the 15th bank account wouldn’t work, my character received this:

I’ve never had a lad put so much effort into trying to get me to a MoneyGram. I used to live in the area, so I could picture the directions in my head. My route/box numbers are fake, and my character’s last name is a very common one. Thank goodness for that, because he’s probably tried to Google my character's name and address.

Wow.... the street by street from your fictional house is really something. I've had lads tell me that there were money grams in my city, but never with directions. Interesting.

I've had a couple of lads Google up a list of WU or Moneygram addresses near the (fake) address of my character, but never one who researched driving instructions. Laughing

Doesn't he know that Dobbin Hufsmith Rd is currently closed due to construction work. He's going to need to give you an alternative route.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! I have two baits that hopefully will reach sand timer status in December. I think both lads are well-connected as they seem to have an endless supply of piggies.

I love having lads hooked so deeply because then I can venture into the realm of a soap opera. In this bait, my character’s brother was shot during a robbery and required a kidney transplant. My character was a match but suffered a stroke after donating her kidney. She remembered nothing and made the lad explain it all again, lol. And it took weeks of rehab before she could write coherently. Twisted Evil

You should pretend to follow his directions and end up getting hopelessly lost and then blame him for bad directions.
