Recent Russian bride scam – a new dimension of scamming?

I've been receiving tons of bride scam mails in broken German every day for two months now, not only on my catcher, but also on my primary mail account. The content is always the same: I'm Russian, I love you, I want to marry you, oh, I need to pay some fees for a visa, please send me <enter balance here> dollars, you know that kind of stuff.

The latter is not unusual, but I am just overwhelmed by this massive amount of scam mails that that I get every day and it seems to become more and more. The writing style is very similar, so I suspect the same lad, maybe rather the same organized scam mafia behind it. It really looks like these scammers do any effort to clog the whole Internet with their shit to even squeeze out the last of the probably millions of dollars they earn by fraud. It is this kind of new organized efficiency that makes me worry.

Did anyone else perceive such a scam flood on all mail accounts yet? Has this kind of scamming always been?

nope, I haven't

neither on my regular mail accounts nor on my baiting-accounts.

but I'm receiving a lot of those "your bill" messages (where a virus sits inside waiting for a chance to infect and encrypt my computer).

Cammy seem to get every Benin Lad in existence and Mal gets the virus messages that Robert mentioned. It's a strange clustering indeed.

I get loads of them, nearly 100 a day, all forwarded from an old email address I am unable to close (long story).

However, mine are all of the 'F@ck buddy' variety, or how to make money online, and they all come from Russia, as far as I can make out.

It wouldn't be unusual for the vlads to make an organized focused effort to locate victims, perhaps by ISP . They used to be highly concentrated in certain dating sites.

Since a week or so I get daily new scam mails from russian ladies on my baiter account where I do romance baiting.
