Hello fellow scambaiters!
Just joined and am having a great time! You aren't lying when you say to say good-bye to your family & friends!
I was an "almost" victim of a job scam and I gained 10 years of knowledge in about 2 days.....luckily for me the bank manager where I took the fake check to deposit (& to provide the deposit receipt to my "new employer") was on to this sort of thing....needless to say he prevented me from lots of grief and $$ down the drain! The stories I have read here make me laugh with glee! Keep up the good work, loving every minute of it!

You may also want to get a mentor, who will teach you the ropes. You may want to wait before you start baiting, since you just almost lost money to a scammer, and you should not try to bait the same lad who offered you the fake job. |

If you decide to bait, please read our stickies about safe baiting. Block the scammer who contacted you. Unfortunately there are tons of others. Set up a shiny new email account with none of your real details, invent a character and give it a try. |
