I was looking for something on Facebook.... and this page was 'offered'. I'd been contacted by a scammer I'd blocked and was looking for somewhere to list him.

It's called Scammer's Yard. Seems like a place they go to to learn and contact other scammers.
I'm shocked. I know you all won't be... but I am pretty shocked ! |

Welcome. A lot of scammers use Facebook but this shouldn't be surprising since half the world and his dog are on it. It has a lot of functionality that they use for discussion as well as snaring victims. It's a tool like any other and neutral to the good or bad intentions of its users.
On the bright side it offers excellent possibilities for baiters as well. A lot of good baits have involved Facebook chats and a well defined Facebook page is a good convincer.
just to keep things safe and tidy I've broken your link and marked it NSFW since the page contains some suspicious material, as you'd expect from a bunch of degenerate thieves. Anyone who wants to visit it now will need to think a bit first and that's no bad thing.
Happy baiting |

Sorry, I never thought. Yes, I've got a lot to learn.
Well, I am enjoying looking around. Learnt some things too ! I get so many scammers on my FB page I thought I may as well play a little, may not be a bad way to learn. It's learning to be nice to them, I'm usually not.
So, it's thinking up info for a fake profile FB page as the sense in not doing it on my own page was.. well...too sensible ! I should have thought of that myself.
Love the fun you have and I now have this great picture of people walking back and forth to Western Unions empty handed ! |

They do a lot of that every week and we get a constant intake of heartfelt objections to this. It's lovely.
Definitely don't use your own Facebook. Also be careful that Facebook doesn't make connections between your real life character and baiter profiles; be suspicious of friends requests.
If you want some friends for your new persona, drop me a PM and I'll introduce to you to a few. |

Thank You.
I need to find pictures. Which will need to be thought about.
I suspect I'll be coming back here a lot.
Thanks for the advice and replies. Oh and for sorting my link.
