I haven't been around for abit,but the pesky scammers have. My Facebook is pretty much locked down, but I had a request from a friend of a friend last week. I thought it might be someone I knew but apparently not. It started straight away why wasn't I talking to him, he and M were just friends, he was from the States but in the army in Syria yaddayadda. Usual case bad English, usual story. Anyway I said that as it was a case that I didnt know him I was blocking him - he then called me a stupid woman - hey ho ! I contacted my friend and told her I thought he was a scammer and she told me he's been asking to marry her and she blocked him.
Since then I am having requests of randoms - one gave a French name - had film star looks etc - and one friend (me !) add to this a call allegedly from talk talk wanting to fix my computer and I know I'm being targeted again ! I have two jobs and not a lot of time to play anymore, Facebook is now the way forward for our friends. Oh well I've put one person on the road to recovery at least. |
