Hello,
I am very new to this, I literally signed up 10 minutes ago and I am running into a few problems that I think a more experienced baiter can help me with.
First off, I was only able to successfully post to one guest book. All the others are sending me to "Bad Gateway." When filling out the info in the guest books I am only putting a name, email address, and a message. Do most guest books require a location and url to post?
Secondly I am using a yahoo email account I created. I havent seen anything on this site advising against yahoo as the provider but I also havent seen anything advising to use yahoo. I picked yahoo cause that is what I use for my personal account but is there a more successful provider I could use?
Thirdly, I love this site and how friendly everyone seems to be. I also love the idea of screwing with scammers so Im trying to get a high volume of suckers!

edit to add Most baiters use gmail it strips your IP address so those lads you upset can't find you. Don't forget these are criminals and sadly are found in most countries of the world these days.

I only managed to get my name on one guest book too, but it has been enough so far, i currently have 183 scam emails to chose from and i only joined it a month ago on that addy.

That is awesome! I have found more success with getting into the guest books when I fill out all the info they ask for, instead of just my name, email and message

Use a safe email provider you prefer. The major ones strip IP. I have outlook, hotmail, gmail, and yahoo addresses. Some characters have them in multiple providers.

Surplus is a great place to get started. Our sister site, www.scamwarners.com also has verified scammers there. Either way, you can pick and choose the specific type of scammer you want to bait.

My catcher is from yahoo and I bait from gmail.

We never bait right from our catchers, that'd be impossible because they catch too much lad traffic.

Of course most 419 email goes right to the Spam folder. Problem with Yahoo is that spam filter can't be deactivated and it overwrites any other tag or filter. I'd like to filter and classify lad mail by modality (messages containing "kidney", "ATM", "Benin", "Nigeria" and so on go to different folders), but that works only with the few messages that spoof the spam filter.

BTW, once you sign this guestbook you won't need any other one. And you still have the Surplus section!

what might happen in the future: lads trade mail accounts of former victims (or close matches... means victim replied but stopped communicating).

so, eventually your bait-accounts will turn into catchers over time.

my tip: have one catcher-accounts and several bait-accounts, and at some point, get new bait-accounts and forward the old bait accounts into your catcher. and they will supply you with a constant stream of new addresses.

Hello, and welcome. Most guestbooks these days seem to be shut down due to spamming/scamming etc...

Have a look here in my shared catcher if it's lads you are looking for. The box gets its fair share of Chinese spam but plenty of legit-bent lads as well. Very Happy

Usually a few hundred lads just itching to be baited to hell and back.

*Edit to add* Once you log in you can forward any emails you fancy baiting to your baiting account. Don't delete them from the catcher in case someone else wants a crack at it too. Wink

You might find, as time goes on, you really don't need an address for a cather. Lads trade address lists all the time. My mail baitig address gets a ton of lad email in Spam. I just pick from there.
