. It's clear that whoever wrote that article doesn't really know anything about scam baiting.

I laughed, I cried, I wondered why a six year old article was relevant. My emotions ran the full gambit.

I've seen this critique before, though not this specific article. I can see how people who don't have all the facts could see what we do as having a racial component, but the fact of the matter is it doesn't. I think anyone who spends a week, or even just a day at Eater will realize this. Enough has been said about this topic already.

^^^This topic has been reviewed many times before. As Jayhawk said, there is little relevancy in an article six years old that was addressed five years before that.

If you visit the sticky in HH&T titled NEW USERS PLEASE READ: Forum FAQs, Rules, Ethics, etc., you will see a further link to * * * THE ETHICS OF SCAMBAITING - PLEASE READ * * * as posted by Eater's founder, Shiver Metimbers. I would direct you to Section 6: "Those pictures with the signs & poses are degrading. How can you make them do that?" and Section 9. Isn't scambaiting/419eater racist?
