I am looking for a vehicle and I contacted this craigslist poster. Here's her response.

Hello, this is Nicole Harris, and I'm emailing you about 2007 Toyota Camry SE, with an gasoline engine, automatic transmission and only 84,850 miles. Never had or need any paint/body work done, garaged keep always, without any mechanical problems, tires and wheels are in great shape as well, electric is working perfectly. The engine 3.5L V6 runs very good and the automatic transmission shifts perfectly. Has a clean and clear US title in my name and there are no liens or loans on it. This vehicle was used by my husband who died 4 month ago. The price was reduced at $2000 because I'm in a hurry to find a buyer. I need to sell the vehicle before the 15 of the next month, when I will be leaving on military duty with my medical team out of the country for a year and do not want to store my vehicle. Hate to sell it but its not worth keeping insurance and paying storage fees for a year. Also, my daughter didn't like it so there's no use on keeping it.If you interested i can send you more pics.

This is my first post, I can easily recognize scams but I'm sick and tired of how many posts are by scammers. Can someone suggest how I should proceed.

I agree, there are telltale signs there of a scam.

Welcome to eater, glad you can already tell them apart from the real ones at least to some degree. Firstly, drop all contact with her/him from your real life contacts. Secondly I would suggest that before posting this info at our sister site scamwarners.com (in order to warn unsuspecting public of the scam) more evidence needs to be collected.

As for the scammer you have now. Drop them if they have ANY of your real life information, name, email, location etc. Plenty more scammers can be found in the surplus section. Remember these are criminals, they are located in most countries and they have friends. Bait safe, bait smart.

Have she asked you to pay any money to her or directed you to pay through a third party site?

As far as I know there is no such thing as a as a "US title".

Car titles are state by state.

^They are state by state, but as a former automobile wholesaler that has purchased many vehicles off of craigslist and newspaper ads, I've seen mistakes of this kind.

My opinion is only based on what has been posted and without knowing any other particulars.

First off, how to proceed? Drop this, immediately. Do not mess with scammers with your real life information.

Regarding if this is a scam or not, I have used my big, bad friend.

Anything in this thread look familiar?

What are the odds two (or many more) different people use the exact same words?
