Hi all, first post here!

I recently had something threaten my life, and thought you guys might be the type to enjoy the conversation!

On another note - should this kind of thing go reported to someone - and if so, who? I emailed both Gmail abuse and Hotmail abuse it late last year and apparently the accounts are still active.

The linked article appears to have a Mule's name and address in it (and also your email address).

It's my spam address, not my real one - so i'm not too worried about editing that out.

I did check the rules quickly before checking, is the mules address ok there?

Personally I'd remove it and forward the info to a Mod (their names are in green)

My suggestion would to be to edit out the mule's information and exchange their name for initials in your emails. Also, we don't try to get lad's emails closed down. We don't know if they're being baited by someone else and if they disappear, that ruins some baiter's work. Also it doesn't stop them. If they lose one email address, they'll just make a new one and start all over.

Also we want them to keep their email addresses and handles so that we can post those as warnings for other people that may be real victims. These details get posted on scamwarners and other sites so when people google the email addys or names, they find their way to sites that let them know they are being scammed.

Nice to see you're reading the stickies but you might want to read eater uni and maybe apply for a mentor in our mentoring program. There is a wealth of knowledge to be found in both on things like mules and the dreaded lad Gomer that has killed a few lads when he chopped their dollar at the Western Union. Bad bad stuff.

I have removed the link for the protection of the 'mule' to whom your lad wants money sent. There's a high probability that this is an innocent victim who thinks he got a legitimate work-at-home job.
