Hi all,
I consider myself new here - posted once a few years ago and then a busy life took over.
Well, I'm back into scam-baiting as of mid-last month and loving it.
I'm just working on one at a time and as much interested in the fun of it as with completely wasting their time.
I set up a blog for interested friends to follow my endeavours as I go - not trying to get lots of visits, but in case any of you are interested, pm me for the address. (Sorry - didn't realise I couldn't link to it.)

One question because it seems that methodology has changed since the mid '00s when I last baited. What is the recommended way to pass on information of personal details of scammers now? I sent them last time to the FBI 419 division.

If you get the name, address, and phone number of someone in cahoots with a lad, pass them on to a mod. If you get a bank account, you can pass it too to a mod, or sign up for Premium and report it on the web form.

Someone who lives in a First World country and whose info a lad gives you to send money by WU or MG to is probably a mule. Mules need to be warned. The mod will pass on the info to a warner, who will warn the mule without giving away your baiting character.
