If all goes well and as planned I will publish the bait at a later date...
But I just laughed when I seen this in his mail..

I'd guess that he will soon be hitting you with a fee of some sort. It is very unlikely that a Lad will safari without having spoken with his Mugu. I'd suggest that you call him ASAP and record the call. Then, when he travels, record it at the destination. You may then compare voices to be sure that he hasn't sub-contracted the job to another Lad at the distant location.

Can he get you a letter from his lawyer explaining the tax implications of this transaction (after he sends the letter, explain that you are concerned both about his country's taxes AND your country's taxes - a second letter will be needed).

Also how many karats is this gold? He says it is 22 karat - you want to insist on at least 30 karat gold. Can he correct this deficiency?

Finally, when he asks you for money, whatever currency he wants - you want another one. If he wants dollars - you must do the transaction in Euros. Haggle over exchange rates. Have him redo any forms in Euros (or Pounds, or Canadian Loonies, or whatever).

I have only baited a few gold lads, so I have little experience. But the one thing I have learned is that they won't safari to their front lawn if you have not spoken with them by phone.
