been away for awhile, but had to come back since the owner of Debeers diamonds has sent me a gift card for 1000.00 dollars. of course i did a little research, i didnt know he lived in pakistan or that they (Debeers) was a person. good lord this guy is not going to make it as a scammer. i blew him off by telling him we were thinking about making a trip there. he wrote back saying i dont know any thing about VPN and he could be any where. i was going to leave it at that but ..........what the hell, i wrote back today and played dumb, called him funny and ask for the info to get my 1000.00 gift card. its good to be back since i am going to need some tools from here to rock his little world.

Since you've been away for a while, you may want to re-familiarize yourself with the rules here at Eater. One of our big ones (along with "Bait Safely") is that we do not educate our lads, or do anything which may allow them to become better scammers.

If your lad made it clear that he lived in Pakistan and he thought that DeBeers was a person, these are facts that may have tipped off an actual victim that he wasn't on the up-and-up. By correcting him, you may have inadvertently helped him to improve his scam, so please be careful of that in the future.
