I made a deal to purchase an illicit item online, wired the money, and later the same day I got an email from someone claiming that my package had been searched and seized by the shipping company and I needed to pay a fee to have it released and shipped to me. I knew right away I had been ripped off, but I spent about a week trolling the guy just to waste his time...

Anyway, I cut off contact with him but I was thinking about posting his info here so you all could waste his time, too. Is that something I can do on this site? I don't want to violate forum etiquette. Thanks!

Illegal purchases are not something we look to have here. We'd like to stay around a bit longer. These are criminals and you are poking them? Please think about that. It's certainly not the safest way to live.

aren't all of these scammers criminals? I wasn't asking anyone to buy an illegal item (weed) from these people. I don't think they even actually have any weed. I just wanted to waste some more of their time. I must have misunderstood the intent of this site.

You are correct in cutting off contact. These people will do anything to take your money.

If you want to bait we would love to have you. Just keep in mind that we do this to make the world a better place. Not because we have a personal vendetta. I can not stress how important baiting safely is. If you can't separate yourself from a bait then you have no business dealing with these criminals.

Also I do not know how this scammer stole your money but eater does not condone a single illicit activity.

I could be wrong, but this sounds like a non-delivery scam, a fake web store ront which sells a product and then the standard 419 customs fee applies. A few fakes sites selling weed as part of the non-delivery scams are in the aa419 database. Either way its still illegal.

If you engaged in something that you knew was illegal and got ripped off then welcome to the world of illicit activities. Get used to it. Don't bother posting on scamwarners.

You were engaged in an illegal activity. Now you want us to get "revenge." We don't work that way. It's no different than saying, "I was trying to purchase a fake ID, but I paid them and they didn't send it." It's not hard to fathom that someone dealing in something you know to be "illicit" would steal from you.
