And it came far easier than I expected.

Ive not posted here a lot, hardly ever in fact but I've been lurking for aaages.

Anywho, I got an orphan lad in my catcher last week and thought I'd take him on. IP is Nigeria.

Our urgent need for financial aid has led us to seek assistance from so many individuals and corporate body including you too. Our orphanage home is currently in a bad shape and the Government is not ready to do anything to ameliorate the poor condition of our home, rather all they keep giving us is empty promises without any action or financial support.

At the moment, things have gotten out of hand and extremely difficult for us as regards the financial management of our orphanage home. This predicament and acute starvation had led to some been affected by Malnutrition, Malaria fever, among other infections and diseases that arises from starvation and malnutrition. In this year, we have lost 10 percent of the children to the cold hands of death.

Many a times those infected with the malaria parasite end up dying because we have little or no funds to procure the needed drugs and access to health facilities. In this vein several others get sick and eventually die due to the poor ventilation system. Also, the issue of accommodation has been another major problem staring us in the eyes without any us having a clue or solution to it considering the fact that we are doing this all alone without any support from any individual, corporate body or international aid.

Conclusively, we wish to use this medium to seek for your financial assistance so that we can build a habitable home for those kids whom the Government have failed to take care of on the streets. This way we would not only be helping the Government but also shaping a future for the innocent children who are victims of circumstance.

The bible says in the book of Proverbs 28: 27 that "He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse". In addition to that, the bible also speaks more in Deuteronomy 15:11 " There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your land". It is our earnest prayer that whatever you have achieved in life will not diminish neither will your work, family, business and hopes not be dashed in the name of Jesus. We plea that you have compassion on us and help, The Havilah Orphanage Association realize their dreams and goals in life to better help the country and world at large.

I am sorry for the delay in replaying your email. It sounds like you have a lot of troubles, but I urge you to not have any fear as I will help you as much as I can. I am a Christian man and I have no doubt that God has a special place for you and the work you do. He sees all that you do and will give you bless for your work.

Can you tell me more about the orphan house? What is it called? How many childers are you caring for? What is the cause of their orphaning? How many boys and girls are there? What are there ages?

What can I do to help? Do you need any special equipment for the childers?

The lad then responds with names and ages of all the "childers" and an obvious copy-paste job from some official policy document. I expected that he would request a "donation" for x amount of dollars, but he kindly left it up to me as to how I could make a donation to the orphanage.

Dear Dr. George,

I have read your email. Thank you for your informations about the orphan childers. I am not a very wealthy man but is my duty to God to help you.

I can send you a little bit of money next week. I will be going to church tomorrow and I will talk to the pastor and ask him to help too. My church is very generous and often give money to orphanages in Africa.

In the mean time, please send me the orpanage bank account details as soon as possible and I will send you €500 so you can buy some food and medicine for the childers.

Report the bank info to a mod and collect your piggy. there is a "code" you put in your siggy line.

Oh and don't forget that there will be some problems with the account your lad gave you, so you'll need a new account to transfer the funds to.... rinse and repeat.
