You win some, you loose some. A bait I was recently working on just died a death - no reason, lad just did not respond. Perhaps I was not paying via WU quick enough. No amount of poking pricked his interest.

BUT..... I have a new lad Very Happy

This fella provides chemicals to clean dirty banknotes. Sounds bizarre to me, but he basically wants £75,000 for a plane ticket so he can send his technician and chemicals from New Delhi to UK to wash my dirty money to include 10% commission. (I have a secure cash delivery business).

Now I am after some advice - my idea is to swing it around that I don't want someone to come over and do this. I want to send cases of money to him to "launder" and return. This way I can play silly buggers with the fake tracking service details only for the cases of cash to be diverted to another airport in order to get him to safari. Will this potentially work? Will he smell cases of cash to rip off or will he simply be a lazy lad and just bang on about WU transfer for a quick easy buck?

How would you play this? It seems a goodun so far. Me having wads of cash that needs him to handle spells greedy lad to me.

Thank you Monsignor... I shall check this out. Depending on how into the cash delivery this lad seems, I may have to go wild and stump up for premium membership.

A bit of detective work is in order first - he claims New Deli, but in our emails there is a fair amount of what looks like Chinese text.

This is all part of the "Black Money" scam mythology.

If you need any background on this particularly weird setup do drop me a PM.
These lads can be made to work hard but you'll need a strong convincer and a good knowledge of how this scam works. It's possible to put them through the mill with a bit of care and some luck.

He is using yahoo and I am having trouble using an ip tracker on this. Perhaps for the same reason as I use gmail - limited tracking. He has given no phone number as yet. He has asked for mine which I ignored but will use the hard of hearing blag if he persists.

For your info, you are not stepping on any mentors toes. After a brief period of inactivity I was removed from the mentoring program. Dr Mike and Capone both had a piece of me! Wink

Hey Nailgunner. Great link and interesting how they try and work it. I think in my naivity I have accidently landed myself more in control. I have informed him that I run a secure money transit business and deliver 10's of thousands of pounds per week, lots of which are soiled but still useable. I'm just after a way of "smartening up" all my cash bundles!

With a bit of luck, my good friend will be accommodating and look after my money for me. With a bit of luck that blasted WU transfer will pale into insignificance with me sending crates of cash right to him.

I may well take you up on a PM chat if and when things start to go my way. My office is closed over Easter and dirty cash is likely building up Cool

That's an interesting angle and probably not one he was expecting - Usually these guys prey on victims who have already been sold "black money" by criminals. They ask for fees for chemicals but can't deliver. If the lad thinks he can get his mitts on some real money then not only is he off script to begin with but he will likely end up all hungry for that cash. let's see where this one will go... no, I didnt receive anything quite so hilarious, just a stock email talking rubbish about black banknotes I didn't really understand.

As an update, I seem to have convinced my lad that me sending him the cash is the best idea. He mentioned customs clearance but I've reassured him I can take care of this as I deal in money transport all the time. Strangely though he wants me to travel over with the money as opposed to just sending cash. What's all this about? He obviously is worried about customs and thinks I'll be the key to getting the cash through, but then he has the problem of me there. Sounds like this is turning into a robbery plan.

I've not responded yet, just wondering where I should take this. Boxes on their own can be communicated by email and gps tracking. People is going to get into the realms of phone calls which I want to avoid for the time being. His emails have deteriorated in their English as he is clearly off script and is having trouble holding it together!

This scam involves a demonstration of the effectiveness of the chemicals they're trying to sell you. That doesn't work so well if you're not there to see it. Laughing

those lads are usually very keen of visiting their victims and showing them their method.

if you place your character somewhere in europe, maybe for a little nastiness somewhere in northern sweden or in switzerland, he might hand you over to a collegue, who will then visit you.

of course, he will have a hard time finding your home.

CryHavoc - I understand his original scam but am trying to bring him round to laundering my money for me. In all honesty I'd be amazed if he really does have any product to do the job. Having me there as an observer would only highlight his incompetence in the matter. Its for this reason I'm somewhat confused as to my attendance. I'd just be someone he needs to separate from the cash. If he had the boxes of cash on his own he is laughing. This is why I think he believes customs will be an issue.

Mr Heinrich. Depending on his insistence of me being present, I'm sure I'll end up on business closer to him at some point. Perhaps an associated business will also be interested.

Forgive me for saying this then, but from your reply I wonder if you do understand how this works.

What happens at the demonstration is that you will pick a random piece of black paper out of your trunkbox/suitcase and hand it to the 'technician' for him to demonstrate the cleaning. Using sleight of hand he switches it with a real banknote coated in glue and iodine, and will clean this off with a liquid containing vitamin C. The victim sees that this works and is convinced to pay for litres of useless chemicals, because the only real banknote was the one the scammer had.

I understand what you're trying to do, send him to pick up your suitcases. I just don't see why he'd bother. He knows what's in them, and it's not worth anything to him if you aren't there.

If you are with the suitcases, then he has a reason to go, because you will be paying after his demonstration, one way or another. Kidnapping is a very real possibility if a real victim did this.

I had a similar idea to yours last year where instead of having them clean bank notes I wanted them to coat real bank notes to get them out of the country illegally.

I feel kind of stupid in pointing this out as there is obiviously more experienced people here but these Wash-Wash -scammers often have a website that can be killed. Killing a site is always good way to waste scammer's time and/or money.

CryHavoc - I do understand where you are coming from, but maybe I haven't explained myself. I don't have any of this fake black paper money. I have told him I have real legal cash. I am a money delivery service. All my notes are perfectly legal, just a little grubby from general use. He is just going to clean them up.

So I want to send him cases of fully legal, usable legal money. Money he can just pick up and spend and never speak to me again. To dangle the carrot further I have offered several options - a mere £10,000 tester batch to see if he can collect at customs, or go straight into a weekly £50-100,000 delivery or a single £300,000 monthly delivery.

My geuss is that he actualy would change your money in to black paper and then sell you the chemicals.It's a nice twist on the script but actualy iff he not accept the money by courier i would send a friendly mail you will find another sollution to deal with your dirty cash or whatever it is.Or drop me a PM i paint for 5% and clean for 3% only when it's more then 10 milion$!My offer stands only for limited time.

@Chickendipper - My apologies, I've been a little slow on the uptake. I thought your plan was to tell him you're sending the suitcases full of the black paper, which is why I couldn't see any profit in it for the lad to play.

Claiming to be able to send him real usable if slightly grubby money, on the other hand should definitely get him going along with you.

Some more emails today but I have delayed till Tuesday as I'm now shut over Easter. I'm not sure whether this chap really grasps English that well as no matter what I say he keeps banging on about me or my diplomat bringing the lab registration fee. Dunno whether he is trying to keep it real or just not fully grasped there is gonna be tens or hundreds of grands in cash for him to rob. Still confusing why he wants me there. Who gives a damn about his cleaning chemicals when he will have perfectly fine cash anyhow.

Think I need to reaffirm this shipment is for real legal cash. He is so off his script now it's almost hard to understand!

Been away for a couple of days so have had limited lad emailing opportunity. Fired one to him last night which I really hope he will reply to in a favourable manner.

Told him my man can't travel to New Delhi for at least 2 weeks so I want to send him £275,000 to clean (all legal tender) of which he can keep the £75,000 lab fees. I then want to send monthly consignments of similar value after a renegotiation of the fees.

Please Mr Lad, respond - I want to safari you when the money goes to the wrong airport!

Back in the game! Just had an email telling me that if I send my £275,000 cash consignment alone with no "diplomat", I am fully responsible if anything should happen to the money. Of course that isn't a problem, I trust this guy. What could possibly go wrong?

Thoughts on how to convince him money is sent would be welcome. The cash will likely be diverted to another airport just over 200miles away (a pith would be nice). What do you recon is a good way to convince him it's real? Some sort of fake tracking service?

Yes, I was aware there is a premium section with some privileges. If I get this address and think my man will be a good lad and keep on the hook, I may have to invest. He takes quite a long time between emails even with the promise of the biggest payday of his life. I assume it is either him having help translating or getting advice on how to best steal the money without trace.

I'm going to ask for ip tracking help in another post as I can't seem to track him down. Very peculiar as there is always a load of Chinese text at the start of his email header, he then claims to be in Delhi and asks for the money to go there, but his writing has an African twang to it. Confusing. But I need to get his base email ip tied down to confirm the impending safari.

the IP tracking can work through our friendly gps-service aswell, since he has to log in over there.
