Well ... this lad strikes me as being a bit of a strange duck ... I have to wonder at his approach ... He spends an inordinate amount of his own time emailing
trivialities back and forth before ever getting down to real brass tacks ... My quote for his initial inquiry came to over $15k ... he had me half that,
then finally decided on an order that totaled a little over $6k (including his sheeper, of course).
Then we did the phone dance; he wanted to text me the credit card details and I had to tell him twice that phone orders of any kind are strictly against company policy. He
finally let the phone issue go after I told him that cell phones are horrible devices that give off radiation and cause cancer, and that I wouldn't own one now or ever in the future,
and that texting is an infantile activity.
Today when he finally got around to sending over a credit card, I had to email him back to ask for the name on the card. He only wanted me to charge $500
on the card and get back with him when that was done. Sure, OK, I accepted the charge ... Then he wanted me to do the same thing again. I did so, and
allowed another $500 charge because I want to hook him with a nice sum that he will want to make sure that he can pocket.

The lad usually sends me an email every few hours and recently (last 12 and a half hours ago) he said are you ready to run my card I said yes I am at the front desk with our terminal running then he just stopped messaging me I'm going silent with him for now but I'm in fear hes on to me however I also have second thoughts that he just does not have another card to send me cause he has already sent me two and one or two to kod I'm hoping he's simply out of cards and will pop back up like nothing happened
Oh edit he's gone a few hours before without messaging me then came back with a cc I'm hoping that's what's happening here

The two I have off him so far the first one I threw it out first thing my merchant said "do not honor" the second card I accepted a 250 dollar charge the next day I was asked for a charge back (both cards were reported to bware419ers and should be canceled

That's a pretty common pattern ... this one has taken 20-25 emails back and forth since 04/27 to get this far! I normally don't allow more than 1-2 email
exchanges per day; however, in this case, I wanted to go ahead and hook him if possible. Now that we are there, I'll be doing my regular 1-2 daily. |
