It's on.

Obtained an email address from the surplus forum, cast my line and got a reply back fairly quickly.

Usual opening with a dying woman apparently in Australia who wants 'hank' to help her move her fortune.

Obviously as it's my first bait I won't try anything clever for a while. I've been assigned a mentor but they are yet to contact me so I've set off on my own with this one, I won't bore you with the lads initial emails, but I will copy and paste the latest reply from hank just to get you guys opinion on whether I've done ok......

nothing new to report on the bait as hank has not yet sat down for his chat with charlie.

Hanky panky has met with charlie. charlie, he say yes.

so hank fired off an email saying as much, and also slipped in that charlie is a greedy bugger, a little stage setting for later down the line when he shafts hank and chops the dollar.

ive also acquired a loan lad, who is willing to lend me money even though im "unemployed", and a third lad who im not quite sure what he wants yet, i got a long rambling email that i couldnt make out exactly what he was trying to peddle.

My own fault.

Was going very nicely, but then a few minutes ago I may have inadvertently compromised my real email address via Google mail.

There is no record of it being sent from my real email, but I'm still not 100% sure and that's enough for me to pull the plug on this one

Good idea to drop him.Plenty off others are waiting for you.You lost nothing. Copy paste your scripts and send to other lad(s).Even the best make mistakes.Don't worrie your bait is to fresh to piss him off.Drop him and not answer any mails eventualy he will stop contacting you.

That's the idea, I figured the same that it's too new for him to be that bothered so I just sent an email from the fake account saying the confidentiality of the deal had been broken, and so I no longer wish to continue with it. And, as you have suggested, I will just ignore all future emails from him.

Got a few sat in my fake inbox, I've selected a love lad for my next one.

Gmail can be nasty about linking addresses etc. If you're worried, yahoo and outlook.com are alternatives. Both hide your IP. You could also use a different browser for your gmail. Did you get connected with your mentor ok?

Well Charlie does have a wife with a coke habit to support.

ETA: I've never had a problem with gmail, but I use my phone for everything. I use Gmail app for rl, and gmail in browser for baiting.

ok so been a couple of weeks since i posted,

after cocking up my first bait, i sent replies to a few others, and for some reason the lads stopped replying to my emails after the second or 3rd when i started asking questions, maybe they were wise to it.

had a "murder agent" try his hand, and i couldnt be bothered so spent 2 days verbally abusing him, and now send him an email every couple of days continuing the abuse, just for the fun of it.

i do, however, have another bait on the go thats a couple of weeks in now, similar to my first one in context and content, but im not involving any "agents" in this one, it is now at the point where they have asked me for the first payment.
