I've adopted the name of eVigilante for the purposes of this site. Never used anywhere else. I'm thrilled to have just learned about 419eaters.com from a DOC ZONE documentary on computer scams called DOT.CON. I have always been enraged by the scam emails I get and feel totally helpless knowing the only thing I can do is delete it knowing someone else is about to get hooked by these %&#$@*!'s. UNTIL NOW! LOL
I have always had great cathartic fun with the phone calls from the computer support desk reporting the virus on my computer. I've had those gullible script readers on the hook for as long as 45 minutes while I look for my old DOS computer that I eventually find in a box in the basement.... but I'll be darned if I can find a power cord for it. All without ever leaving my desk... San't they hear the key clicking as I work away on my computer with the handset sitting 3 inches from the keyboard???
Telemarketers are next on my hate list but at least they are honestly trying to make a living. Its the scammers I want a piece of. I know the humiliation of getting snookered  but I only ever lost $150 to a street hustler in Houston Texas. Can't imagine the losses some suffer.
A friend recently got taken in a marriage scam. By the time we convinced her what was really going on, the police hauled his butt off to jail and she was in the hole $80,000. She was on the way to loosing her house!!! It was a treat to know that the Police actually escorted him in handcuffs to the airport on onto the plane as he was deported back to Jordan where he always claimed Musad was after him and would kill him when they found him. To many holes in that story too. The victim was able to have the marriage annulled with minimal fuss.
Every human being deserves the same respect that they show others. Scammers and fraudsters included.
Hope I can spend some time getting involved in this process.

Do what I did at first. Read some, then read university, then read greatest hits then read all the stickies .....
There is a lot to learn before you do a header into the pool.
I hope the fire burns in you long and well. Lad pain is all that will ease the burn. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA (Did I say that out loud?) |

It occurs to this neophyte that the term "Lad" actually refers to a scammer. If so, I'm guessing it is an acronym of some sort? What does it actually mean? eVigilante |
