I have been of seeing a post about mon cherie, Michael Abramovich on votre site, Scamwarners! C'est impossible! Il n'est pas un escroc! Michael and moi, we are of engagement, and I would appreciative if you would stop spreding les mensenges a son sujet!

There is no doubt that he is a scammer and a pretty stupid one by the look of it. He uses scripted emails and stolen love letters and poetry, because if he wrote to you in his own hand you would not be able to understand his barely literate ramblings.

I am sorry, but you are not engaged to him - how can you be? You have never met him in person and possibly never even spoken to him on the phone. I'm afraid that he has no interest in you as a individual, all he is interested in is the money that he can steal from you to fund his drug habit.

Webcams can be faked. Unless you have actually met him in person then you are not in a relationship with him. He is just playing on your emotions to steal from you and as soon as he feels you have no more money to give, he will move on to the next meal ticket to pay for his drugs, prostitutes and nights out clubbing.

He is not a hero American soldier, he is a pathetic little drug addicted individual who hides behind the anonymity so that he can play on the emotions of women like you. His only aim is to steal from you.

Did you read the posts on Scamwarners? He was writing to 2 women at the same time, as recently as October. When did your "relationship" with him start? Was he writing to you at the same time? Or perhaps he moved onto you when they saw through him.

I am sorry Marie, I am sure it this must be very difficult for you to accept that the man you have fallen in love with does not exist and instead you are communicating with a pathetic failure who can't even show his own face.

I would urge you to sign up at Scamwarners and get in touch with one of the Moderators or support team. They will help you get over the shock of finding out about the lies he has been telling you.

I have been read of the posts and I am of thought that oui, he may have been of speaking to other women, though it was before he was of meeting moi! They must simply be bitter and not realizing l'homme they having!

I understand how painful it is when confronted with the fact that the love of your life is actually a scammer.

As B8er said, webcams can be faked. The pictures he has sent you are likely stolen. Somewhere in your brain you know that this is a scam, otherwise you wouldn't have found yourself at Scamwarners reading about him.

Soyez fort et écouter la voix qui vous dit quelque chose ne va pas avec Michael. Deep down, you know that he is not in love with you, he is in love with the money he thinks he can get out of you.

The picture of him in his uniform is stolen from social media or elsewhere. He steals for a living and lives in anonymity in West Africa or the Far East - do you think that he cares about the crime of pretending to be a soldier.

Has he asked you to receive his "trunk box" yet, or perhaps he needs some money to travel to you, or money for a "care package" or "a secure phone" to speak to you? Or perhaps he has asked you to receive his wages for him due to bank problems?

If he hasn't done any of those, then he will do soon (once he is convinced that you have fallen for his lies) and you are going to end up financially ruined or perhaps even being investigated by the police for money laundering and fraud? When that happens, don't expect him to help you out - he'll already be peddling his lies to his next victim (in fact he probably already is at the moment).

Unfortunately, many victims (particularly of romance scammers) fall totally under the spell of the scammers and believe all the lies that they are told, no matter how compelling the evidence against them is.

Scammers don't get their details removed, so he'll be staying there for all his other victims to find.

As OrangeCat said, if you didn't have doubts yourself, you wouldn't have been searching for the details that took you to Scamwarners.

I assume I am the gangster to which the OP refers. I am truly sorry that you're going through this, MarieV, but there's virtually no doubt the person that is contacting you is a scammer.

His email address is not from a recognized Armed Forces domain. Members of the military are not required to pay for "leave" or phones. Have you ever actually spoken to him?

Why would he warn people that he was listed as a scammer?

Surely a real, legitimate person would have contacted the owners of Scamwarners and asked for the incorrect information to be removed - he hasn't done that, because he knows that he can not prove that he really is the person in the pictures.

Scammer's lie for a living. That is all they know how to do. They will do anything to convince you they are the person they say they are but in the end they are still just lies. If you continue to stay in contact with this Scumbag he will steal every dime you have and then ask you to send money from your friends and family too. He will have no problem leaving you living under a bridge without a dime to your name or even worse in prison for laundering money for him. Please see through his lies before it's too late.

The others have given you some excellent advice and all I can do is tell you to listen to them. Take a step back and try to think clearly here. There is no way the man you are talking to is telling you the truth. He is a thief and a liar and if you refuse to see the truth of this, he will take everything you have and break your heart. We've seen this so many times here, please don't fall into the same trap.
