The lads haven't worked out who is in charge of the orphanage yet but I really hope it is Father Klean Kuul - what a name, what a guy!

Please, Father Klean, let me know everything about your orphanage and your orphans. Where is your orphanage? How many orphans do you keep there? Where do your orphans come from and what do they eat? Do they go to school? How much does it cost to keep the orphans and where do you get your funds?

Father Kelvin There are up to 1,700 children; my head office is located at Abuja and one in Ghana and my colleague are working hand to hand to establish another branch in South Africa also with the help of some donor, So it will be a good strategy to reach-out to the whole nation as one, Because they come from Africa and all over the nations and there are existence of black & white children in the charity home.

They feed with donation from individuals and organizations. Six hundred go to school while two hundred (200) are in to formal education, Training like crafting and designing and the remaining Nine hundred (900) are left at home with us, And with the help from people like you and I know we can do more to help and promote the welfare of the charity home.

I spent a year in Uganda back in the 1980's doing charity work. There are some wonderful people there,,, I worked very closely with the Smurf tribes in northern Uganda.

so now my alter ego an elderly gentleman who have done business in Africa for 30 years and want to give some of his wealth back to the children of Africa, have received a mail from the rev. explaining and talking about the 1700 !! children.

I don't know why, but I think there will be some problems getting funds out of Eu and into Africa, ahh maybe it's just me being anxious Twisted Evil

Rather than sponsor, why not offer to buy a child from them.

Perhaps pick a nice plump one for Xmas dinner or a skinny one for your chimney cleaning business - I bet he'll be more than happy to sell, whatever reason you give.

Oh I love that... I think this Lad is going to get more than he bargained for.

I have 1sabella and my Reverend involved.... Rev is very level headed and liked statistics and 1sabella is more really concerned by those sweet children and even wonders about adopting one or two?

Hope we get many more in on the bait..... it's going in great new ways....

Tell me, are they Smurfs?

When I was doing charity work with the Smurf tribes of Uganda, I found that they were some of the nicest and friendliest people I had ever met. And AMAZING artists. Their wood carving skills were unparalleled. Some of the wonderful carvings that they would make us were so beautiful and I always enjoyed them very much.

It would be wonderful if I could somehow give them a wonderful Christmas season this year. I know they have probably had a very hard life but every child deserves to have a good Christmas.
