Pet Scam, Can anything come from this?

Hi, I have been lurking around this website for quite some time now and today I received a pet scam stating that they could give free pug puppies for free from someone living on the Orkney Island in Scotland, then telling me I needed to pay £100 via western union or money gram to someone in Macedonia by the name of Egbe Grace which is a Cameroonian name. Not sure if anyone can take this any further or something??

Welcome. These are not the commonest scams going but in many ways they can be baited like any other. Get him to give up bank accounts and often in the case of pet scams, a fake shipper website. Of course, you know the rules; don't bait anything that hits your real life address. Stay safe and have fun.

Welcome to Eater! Yes you can bait puppy scammers. I have a puppy scambait partway ready for publication; it is, however, in Portuguese, and I'd like a Portuguese native speaker to look over it to check if I made errors in the translation. (I'm a heritage speaker of French and Spanish, which means I picked up Portuguese easily and can write well enough to bait in it, but I can't tell for sure if I made an error. Of course, I made many intentional errors!) Hopefully I'll meet the Lusophone in less than two weeks.

You will need to get the OP to post the original scammers email address or text number.
