Has the evil one repented of his sins ?

Probably not to be honest. Confused

Mr G0mer is just expanding his global crime empire though, in this case, he isn't running the church which bears his name.

Basically a Lad (Fred) wants to scam me (Bertie W) and I (Brian H) have offered to help him. The intention is to get some nice photos, if I can, of him in the church regalia, which takes the form of that worn by 'Plague Doctors' during the Black Death, but primarily I want to get him to visit a Lad that it is known will lay an egg if anyone comes calling using the name of Mr G.

If he makes it obvious he's going to travel (apart from getting me a safari) a certain J Bond can spook the Lagos Lad about rumours of a hit on him that's come through the grapevine. They have corresponded previously but he turned down the help of Her Majesty's Secret Services.

Quite a few mails have been exchanged and nothing is certain, but this email suggests that I have a basic foundation with which to work.

FROM FRED (Lad) to BRIAN H (fake Lad)

Basically the Lad wants a cut for doing nothing and, rather than telling him what I want him to do, I hope to make it obvious to him what he must do as he discovers Bertie W bringing the money to Lagos. The Lad is based in Burkina Faso I believe.

When he knows all the details of the Lagos donation ceremony I suspect he'll have misgivings that Brian H will cut him out unless he's there.

I don't think I'll be able to keep up the pidgin English for long, but this is what I sent to the Lad as a fake Lad a week ago and obviously it's been working on his greed receptors.

I thought I'd throw in an immigration scam at the same time. Very Happy

It's like sheepdog trialling. I've achieved the pick up and he's been shown the course. Now it's a matter of getting him pointed in the right direction.

The advantage for me is that the Lad is now relying on my fake Lad, so I now shouldn't have a lot of photos and documents to do to convince him.

Unsurprisingly the real scammer hasn't replied to me (the fake scammer) but he is throwing more scams at me (the fake victim).

Ideally the real scammer would prefer to do nothing and contacted me (the fake scammer) on the off chance I might make a sort of commission payment to him. He'd prefer to do nothing and just pick up money from WU. Obviously (as a fake Lad) I'd screw him over and I can't chase him up otherwise it looks as if I'm keen to pay him, which wouldn't sound right.

I (the fake victim) will reply to one of the new scams and point out that I'll be in the region next month and can take care of payment then.

It's an attempt to push him back towards me (the fake scammer).

He's stupid but, like most Lads, incredibly lazy. I just hope that having found the victim of his life he won't be able to pass it up and that as all roads lead to my fake Lad, he'll try to work out a way to scam the victim and my fake Lad.
