Got a bank account and told her the Bank refused the payment as it was flagged as a 'suspicious account'.... and usually you get a couple of lines...

Lad only very asked for $55 so he is pretty very small fry... but with an appeal like that how very can you doubt it's very genuine!!!!
Maybe he'll very believe I'll very pay today !

Try coming with another excuse - rather than saying the account has been flagged as a 'suspicious' Such as - the money has just returned to your account without explanation.

These people not currently aware of any investigation and anybody who alerts them that they are being so investigated may be committing a 'Tipping Off' offence under various Proceeds Of Crime/Money Laundering Laws and Regulations.

I like it.... lad is still trying hard.... I told 'her' that if she had an alternate bank account I was happy to try again.

Honestly... for $55 !!

You can always pull the same "returned my money" but with a twist...

"The bank rejected my transfer, the amount was too small. I need to send at least $1000, will that be okay? It'll certainly be worth it in the end."

Then while they're drooling:

"There's some sort of problem at the bank and they can't seem to send to the same account after a rejection. I don't think I really understand, but do you have another account while the sort it out?"

Often a winner.
