pharmacy scam?

I've believe I posted on this topic in 2012. Back in 2005, I ordered phentermine through an online pharmacy for weight control. Shortly afterwards, it was difficult to impossible to order online anymore.

Since then, I have (3-5 times a week) been getting calls from what sound like India or South America trying to sell me phentermine.

I guess the real pharmacies sold the lists of purchasers to scam artists??

I used to mess with them and play along and then hang up but the calls only increased. Finally, fed up, I told one to send me the drugs about a year ago. He said he would send COD. I had them send COD to the DEA office in Maryland. The DEA intercepted the packages from FedEx.

This did not stop the guys, so I did it again.

The funny thing is these guys are also the same ones who pull the IRS/DEA scam once you buy and try to get you to wire them money.

I got a call about a month after the REAL DEA intercepted the package I told them had purported drugs in it....this time from a fake agent of the DEA from the pharmacy seller. They said that the DEA was aware of my buying phentermine online and I had to pay a fine of $1800.00 or go to prison.

I had so much fun with that one...really frustrated them.

Fast forward to now...I still get the calls, this time from Dominican Republic.

So...I asked the guy to send $1000 worth of phen to me....but I was afraid it would be fake, so send COD...

He said "i'll just send it and you pay me once you get it".

Sure enough, I said what the hell. I had him send me the RX to a cop buddy's house....then I turned them over to the DEA.

He called and called and called and finally I told him maybe now you jerks will stop calling me like I've been asking for years.

He ended the call by calling me a junkie and said he didn't need my money.

They never had my real address....do you think this will stop them?

Probably not, as they have your real phone number, and you're starting to look like a law enforcement plant, or worse, a have-a-go without any real LE backup or protection. I think you're playing with fire here, and you should stop before someone turns up on your doorstep wanting a word with you. Or they may turn up at your buddy's house and do a job on him. Does that mailed Rx still seem like a good idea now?

Another thing that bothers me is that you didn't come into this with clean hands. You started the whole thing by ordering drugs off the internet, so you really shouldn't be surprised when someone else wants to come along and sell you some more.

I don't think there's a lot more we can say on this except to tell you to stop pulling the tiger's tail before you end up in some real bother.
