So in my bait, Western Union has required a security photo in order for the MTCN to be activated. My lad has refused to send me a picture of himself holding a sign, claiming that it is not secure and he will not risk his life and job with such a photo. I don't see how that would risk his life and job if he were a legitimate business worker, but I digress. So now he has replied with this:

Thanks for your E-mail, I will advise you to go and send the required
fees through Rapid Transfer service or Ria Money Transfer, I promise
you that once Mr. John Steve receive the require fees $105, You will
receive your first payment immediately without any delay or If you
want us to send a photo to you then you are advise to forward you
E-mail address and password to us for verification to avoid hackers.

So a basic photo of the person I am emailing holding a sign is way too risky, but they expect me to provide them with my email address and password! Rolling Eyes

What do you think this lad would do if I were to give them access to my email? I'm sure this is a topic that's been discussed in the past, but it's been a long time since I've baited and I am a little rusty on some of the lad tactics.

I think there was a bait a while back where someone allowed the scammer to do this.

First, a fake email address was set up. Then, a bunch of baiters sent messages to that email. Next, the lad was allowed to swindle the password for the email address. He sent messages to all of the baiters, claiming that he was stranded and needed help. Mass baiting ensued.

Sounds about right. That's similar to the Facebook scam where lads either hijack an account (or make a fake account of a person and then add all of that person's real friends), followed by them using the old "I'm stranded and need money" sob story.
