How likely: lad running different characters on you at once?

Hey everyone!

Just started. Have three mail chains.

What is the chance that in different chains I am really talking to one lad? He can then quickly figure out I cannot be serious in wanting to do three crazy things at once. Does it make sense to use different emails for every bait?

Or is lad population really very diverse for this to really be a frequent occurrence?

Nevertheless, did this happen to anyone?

Welcome to Eater! It's not unusual for lads in one bait to play different characters-like refugee, reverend, barrister. Or for a lad to work more than one format, spamming loans and atm cards. However, some types of scam require a specialist-like gold sellers or wash-wash. These are lads who have more than just a brain cell or two.

The odds of two formats from the same lad that are otherwise not similar are low.

I hope you are baiting safe from what you've posted?

No one really worries about replying to different formats from the same lad. Using multiple addresses might help you keep yourself organized, but it's up to you.

what indicates that it may be the same person?

same IP?

do they reply at the same time?

a medium risky course to determine whether they are the same person or not could be competition. tell lad A that you are in contact with lad B, with a totally different proposal, and you can just afford one payment for now (you have a job that pays on provision, 2-3 months without payment is common, but then you get a larger chunk of money). if they are the same person, this person should be okay with it. if they are two, both will convince you to drop the other one. lads hate competition. you could do the same thing with the third lad-character.

Yes, I am myself am as safe as one can get. I am careful with attachements to not have any properties info or whatnot, I have a separate gmail account that has settings for correct country I claim I am from, etc. Gmail strips IP, so this is all good, I hope.

The question was rather theoretical, the chains I have so far have not given me reason to think they are form the same lad. But it was just something I was immediately mindful - after all, I am replying to several emails, why can't they? And if they see that Tom Smith from same email replies to three separate cases - they can clearly see I am a "joker".

Anyway, thanks. I will continue learning and reading the forum.

Loan lads often use multiple email addresses and identites - a couple of times I've had one of them come back and ask me why I didn't go ahead with the loan with XYZ lender or why I am applying to them at the same time.

I've also baited apparently diferent loan scammers with different characters, only to be given the exact same WU payment info and bank details by them both.

There are a lot of lads out there. While I'm sure there are many who scam with multiple different accounts and formats at once, the chances of accidently baiting said accounts with the same character would, IMO, be incredibly low. I wouldn't worry about it. Even if it does happen, the lad may well assume your character is just incredibly gullible.
