I need a charity lad - I hate those and they seem to come out of the woodwork when some disaster happens some place in the world. The challenge is that I haven't seen any in my catcher account for a long time - do any of you fellow baiters have any on surplus or any you want to share ?

I have tried to get some of the lads of script by answering to their mails that there must be a misunderstanding (blah, blah, blah) but they might have my mail mixed up as I'm currently looking for charities to donate some of my wealth to. I would expect to get some mails, but no one bites.

Any suggestions / help ?

Now that my health has deteriorated so badly, I cannot do this my self any more. I once asked members of my family to close one of my accounts in Bulgaria and donate the money to charity organization in Bulgaria, they connived and instead kept the money to themselves. Hence, I do not trust them anymore, as they seem not to be contended with what I have left for them and others, they stole from me.

The last of my money, which is the huge cash deposit that I have with a Financial Firm abroad. I will want you to help me collect this deposit and distribute it to charity organizations in your country and let them know that I Mr. William Linger is making this generous donation. I am writing this from my laptop computer in my hospital bed where I wait for my time to come. I pray that God uses you to support and assist me with good heart.All I need from you is Truthfulness, Honesty and Sincerity assuring me that you can in all honesty and obedience utilize the funds for the purpose with which it is meant. In any a case, a quick response from you will be highly appreciated as I am already on a count-down and may not have ample time to finalize the procedures. Any delay in response may compel me to source for other measures or perhaps choose the alternative which I will not be happy to.

As soon as I receive your reply I shall give you the contact of the Bank and how much I deposited there. You might already know all of what I"m about to say. If so, please disregard.

The scam letter that PJP posted is an excellent sort of charity fraudster to bait. They are especially scummy. His advance fee fraud line no doubt will follow in his first response. These guys are usully quite impatient and therefore easy to get excited with promises and evenhalf-hearted attempts to "pay" them. These guys can be great for absurd church based baits (Search for TWAT modality references on this site).

On the flip side, whenever you do get charity spam, be sure to differentiate between beggars vs. scammers. This community does not bait mere beggars nor do we encourage anyone to do so even when the "charity" seems dubious at best. Similarly, some genuine (or even nominally legit) charities solicit via spam mail.

Good luck. Bait safely and have fun dealing pain to your chosen scammer(s).

@Lehigh Guy. Thank you for your advice - all though new to eaters I have been doing this on and off for some years, but all ways nice to be reminded about the ground rules and yes sometimes it can be difficult to distinguish between beggars vs. scammers - if I'm in doubt I all ways walk away.

If you don't mind one that's been beaten up and safaried a few times, there's always Michael Kado who is the subject of a thread in HHT. Stubborn git hasn't learned yet that scamming about orphans and claiming they're dying hasn't worked out for him.
