I received an e-mail from the BBB stating that the bogus check I received was a secret shopper scam. Ben Stiller , benstiller [email protected], told me a check was coming to me from his insurance company and asked me to deposit the check and wire him the money via western union. The check was supposed to be from Universal Bank in CA. I have tried to paste the message to this e-mail but could not complete the operation.
