Hello everybody

Thankfully found here about 2 weeks ago after suspecting a weird message.. ( i did fall for it for an hour ) but got bored after 6 hours because I have never encountered such pooh !!.. anyway .. think I have another horror ... figured this out after he asked what i liked in a man ..I replied tattoos beard and motorbikes... he asked if I had a beard or bike..... that was about 4 weeks ago and after ignoring him, he still kept popping up to ask if i was are you ok.. what you do this day... anyway .. decided today , after finding this site, couple of weeks ago just to keep him hanging... don't know what to do .. although i'm 75% sure he is a "lad" ... shall i just ignore or keep playing ?? any advice please

If he has any of your real life information, drop him!! Set up a baiter account that has none of your real life information and have at him.

I was on a music sharing site ... so had some info there, but not personal stuff... but feel bloody violated... had to move to Scoootland ..:-/... took me ages to reply back to him... so you reckon he is a tosser? I think he is but after reading things on here ... he is not as usual... ??? but i'm not sure so I'm following my instincts

As SBAH says, drop him. You are not positive that he is a lad and of course y you have not seen any evidence of advanced fee fraud. I suggest that you block him/her, set up some baiting boxes, pull up a chair, roll up your sleeves, visit our Surplus area and bait away.

Well.. he is telling me how beautiful I am.. and telling me he wants a new life etc... I have said I have 3 homes through hard work and he is now repeating same questions... shall I play or just get rid?... oohh exciting but i could be playing with fire as my first time ...

Hi Nicksi,

This isn't about playing with fire, it's about being safe and common sense. If a scammer has any way to identify you, it's a bad idea. Why take any type of risk when its just as easy to set up a fake gmail.

and think about a mentor if you want to keep baiting.

thank you .. I have sought advice and have been allocated a mentor.. just waiting for help... because i really don't know the ins and outs yet, e.g setting up fake accounts etc... but this annoying little man is doing my head in.

If he's causing you real life pain then real life dump the clown. Block him and go on with your day.

As for baiting scammers, Open a new G-mail account using NONE of your real life information or any Profile Nicknames you use anywhere else on the web.

Decide what kind of Knucklehead you want to bait and find one in Surplus. Send them an E-mail: "I'm interested in your offer. Please tell me more about it" And have fun!

easy as that ?... open a gmail account..? .. i'll do that but won't entertain said man thing until then... athough he is asking for my number ( my phone blew up on way to scoootland and i don't trust them anymore) and I don't have IM account . what are they ? ( coz i need advice first ) ... thanks for all advice as yet x

I think it would be best if you do wait for your Mentor as he/she will be able to explain everything in short order. This place can be a bit overwhelming at first but you'll get the hang of it in short order!
