I am using a modality where one of my characters goes to MG/WU, says they sent the money, then I email the lad as the MG/WU agent saying they have cancelled the transaction after my original character left because I know it is a scam. I then introduce the WIMP modaility and others.
I now have a relationship with a lad where he says he will be traveling to northern Nigeria tomorrow (he's from Benin City). I am trying to get him to Boko Haram strong holds, and he is well aware because he has mentioned that he is very affraid of the terrorism in the cities I have given him to pick up the "Orphan Reference Numbers." I will hopefully know tomorrow if he traveled.
Anyway, the lad has emailed me now asking me to check a Reference Number for him (since he thinks I am a manager there). He gave me the senders name, and it is for the amount of $4,800. 
That freakin really pisses me off if someone really sent him that. He is obviously suspicious if the funds were sent since he didn't go pick it up, or attempt to. I am thinking the best course of action would be to tell him that it definitely wasn't sent and is not available for pickup. If in case it is a victim who sent the funds, maybe it will buy more time before this bastard scams him? I tried googling the name but nothing comes up.
Can someone please advise? I am honestly shocked at how this lad could scam somebody of $4,800. It was some of the lousiest, hard to read lad speak I have ever come across. By the way, it is some stupid loan scam.
This really bothers me that this POS may be very close to $4,800  |
