Hey all,

Following a serious development in my real life earlier this week (father-in-law had a stroke Sad

) I'm afraid I'm going to have to put my scambaiting aspirations on hold for the foreseeable future. At the moment the family is working out what to do for him and there's a chance my wife and I may end up looking after him.

So... I have two [straight] baits going at the moment and I'm wondering if anyone would like to take them over before I close the accounts and leave them hanging.

I'm deeply sorry for this as I was truly looking forward to getting to know this good group of people doing something that makes a real difference. But I'm afraid that I must now make some priority decisions for the sake of my family.

PM me if you're interested in taking over the baits (first come first serve). I'll update this thread when/if they've been claimed, say my farewells and then close my accounts (including this one).

Very sorry to hear about your R/L situation, LordPaddington, and taking a step back from baiting to sort out more urgent matters is definitely the right thing to do.

If you don't find anyone to take over your baits, I suggest you just leave them behind and not close the accounts - just let the lad wonder where he went wrong. And then, some day in the future if you decide to come back to it, you can pop in and see if the scammers want to take up where they left off. In my own case, I had a couple that resumed quite well after I took a year off for personal reasons.

Sorry to read this LP. My dad had a stroke last December. It's no fun having to spend hours watching them go through whatever possible recovery they might get. I was spending about 3 nights a week at the Hospital with him as he was combative to the Nurses and such. I also took my laptop to the hospital and did E-mails while he was sleeping. Don't know if that's a solution for you or not.

Either way, Family comes first. Take care.

You guys are all so kind. But you convinced me... I'll leave the accounts active and hopefully I'll be able to return to scambaiting once again. Even then I guess there's no reason I couldn't keep one lad on the line (it would be kind of fun to give my wife a 419 carving for our wedding anniversary someday, hee hee.).

Anyway, thanks for your well wishes. You probably won't hear from me that often, but rest assured that I'll be happily stalk- uh... lurking the forums. Smile

LP, like everyone else has said, you life and family come first. You have the right priorities. Unfortunately, the lads will be around if you chose to to give it another try.You know you're welcome to just lurk and follow whatever baits interest or amuse you.
