I just noticed that today is the one year mark that I officially became a member of Eater. I read the home page for a week or so before I clicked the "forum" link and became hooked on this community.

I have said this before, and I will say it again and again, this is, by far, the BEST community on the internet. I have belonged to many communities in the past 25 years or so that I have been on "the internets", and so far this one has all of them beat.

I want to thank each and everyone of you who make this community what it is. It still amazes me that so many people come together for one common cause- to waste scammer's time and resources so they don't have the time or resources to scam an innocent victim, and to do this so willingly and selflessly. Every one of you has something in you that I wish more people had, which is love, care, compassion for your fellow man, not to mention the humility which you also posses.

My real life has be very crazy and I haven't been able to contribute much to the community, but every time I have a chance to log-in, my faith in humanity is resorted in some way, and for that I give you thanks.

Thank you all for touching my heart. I have laughed, cried, screamed, been mad, made happy but most of all I have a warm fuzzy feeling knowing that somewhere out there, right now, a lad is in so much pain and a real victim is not due to the selfless work all of your are doing. bow_down

Thank you TheFae - when RL settles down I am going to re-join the site killers! Nothing says "Ouch" to a lad than when his domain is killed. You guys in that forum are awesome.

To add what I was saying in my initial post, El Capitan Borracho spent 3 hours via Skype tutoring me on how to kill sites. On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, no less. THAT is commitment and selflessness that abounds here on Eater. THAT is what makes this community the best on the net. I am absolutely positive that 99.9999% (there is always one Razz

) of the members here are just as helpful and selfless with their time as El Cap!

One cannot ignore R.L.better to "ease up" when things are hectic,everyone needs to slow down once in a while.Better that than to disappear altogether like so many do.
