Isn't melting chocolate a GOOD thing? Or do they want it to melt at a (much) higher temp than the human body? |

Problem is, many hot countries see indoor temperatures greater than body temperature.
The best you can hope for is a sharp phase change at just below body temperature, which means that it would not gradually soften as it warmed up. I'd suggest looking at the behaviour fo the various fats involved and replacing them as needed. |

I thought they solved this problem long ago with the chocolate they put into MRE's. High additions of some kind of wax. It doesn't melt. For years. Doesn't exactly taste all that great either but, it's chocolate. It's a nice compliment to the Beef Stew smothered in Tabasco.  |

Life without chocolate fondue would sad, just sad.
They would have to totally change the composition of chocolate bars. Probably something man made and that would just suck. What's next? Ice-cream that doesn't melt?
Here's an idea, if you want to eat chocolate, don't do it in 90 degree weather!  If it's hot outside when I go to the market, I bring a cooler with me so I can store my ice-cream (and other frozen goods). That way it doesn't melt on the way home. |
